CSI themes that service advisors can act on the same week
Turning survey free-text into three floor habits instead of a quarterly score lecture.
Quarterly CSI decks often list every complaint category with equal weight. Advisors leave the meeting unsure which phrase on the survey they can change tomorrow morning. A tighter approach is to cluster free-text comments into three themes the floor already owns: wait communication, explanation of work, and cleanliness of the returned vehicle.
Score each theme for the last six weeks only. Then pick one behaviour per theme. For wait communication, that might be a mid-job SMS when the bay finds extra work. For explanation of work, a mandatory line on the invoice that names the worn part in plain language. For cleanliness, a final wipe of the steering wheel and a seat cover check before the customer is called.
Publish the three habits on a single sheet near the advisor desks. Do not bury them in a thirty-slide pack. When Cortexmatrixbase facilitates a Dealer Workshop Briefing, we bring the site’s own CSI extracts and ask advisors to draft the habit list themselves—ownership sticks better than a lecture from outside.
